The Spartan Beast - leg 1 of our Spartan Trifecta season…

In approximately 24 hours, I will be knee-deep in the most challenging physical and mental endeavor of my adult life.

As such, the experience will naturally bleed into my emotional and spiritual spheres as well…

“What is your primary motivation for "rest"?

Do you approach rest from a mindset of recovery - or one of preparation?

I realize there likely isn't a black-and-white answer to this question - there is at least a sprinkle of both in our motivations, and they each definitely have their place.

But how about it? Which is your primary go-to?”

With practice, once they are past that spot, it doesn't matter what the traffic light does - they are proceeding through the crossing.
